Chapter Twenty
Kayla looked blankly at the exam paper and wished she didn’t feel so sluggish. She yawned. Although she’d managed six hours sleep, most of them had been in the car and had been more along the lines of drifting in and out of wakefulness. She wished she could have stayed home, like Brett, and slept the entire day. She yawned again and frowned as she tried to make sense of the question at the top of the page. She guessed she had at least a twenty-five percent chance of getting each question correct in the first half of the exam. The multiple-choice section was probably the only part she’d be able to answer.
“Seems like most people answered ‘B’ for the first question, lass.”
