Chapter62

1396 Words

SIENNA’S POV Everett hadn’t answered any of my calls since he barged into my office and almost hit me. I hadn't seen him since then either. It was weird, feeling both upset and extremely worried about him. And the worst part? The so-called break in at Anyta's apartment, had absolutely nothing to do with me. I scoffed, “sloppy job.” Why'd I ever do something like? If I wanted her gone, I'd actually focus on that, instead of boring shenanigans. Whoever broke into her house, obviously didn't want her dead, that's for sure. At first, I told myself he would get over it. Perhaps he was actually mad at something else and just used the ‘break-in’ as a cop-out. I needed him tonight. It was always so good between us, I couldn't bear the thought of him hurting at something he believed I did.
