“Amazing,” Alice cooed, looking at me like she genuinely admired me.
“So I wasn't wrong when I said you'd be leaving the secretary life soon?” she grinned, wagging her eyebrows at me.
“The ‘Any-More’ gallery has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Any-More, get it? I shortened both your first and last names for that one, and I still have a couple more options ready.”
I laughed, leaning against the doorframe. The idea was intoxicating, but I wasn't ready to let go of my “day job” just yet. “I don’t know, Alice. Like I said, I actually don’t mind the secretary gig. It has its bright sides.”
