Soo-Yun let out a sigh as she completed her pending work. She looked at the clock and saw it read 8 pm. The work was finally done! She was happy for the moment, she got to relax. She smiled proudly at herself and made her way to the living area to get some rest. Soo-Yun was about to sit on the couch but stopped as someone called her out. “Soo-Yun…?” Soo turned around and saw Jun-Sang standing in front of her. Soo didn’t really know what he wanted so she just asked him ‘what’s wrong?’. He took a deep breath before answering. "Mr. Kang is coming here to have dinner with us." Jun-Sang spoke while trying not to let his nerves show. He knew they weren't ready, but they had no choice in it. Mr. Kang is a business partner of theirs who was very important to them. But what if he didn't want to come back after all that happened. "When will he come?" Soo-Yun asked this time to be more serious. This time Jun-Sang didn't bother hiding his nerves. "In ten minutes…” Soo-Yun nodded her head. "Okay, let's order something then." Jun-Sang sighed and smiled a little before ordering something. After ordering food they headed to change their dresses. Soo-Yun wore a simple peach one-piece dress which looked so elegant and unique to her. Jun-Sang was wearing a simple black hoodie with jeans. After getting changed they went to the living room to prepare the table. Soo-Yun took the plates and placed them on the table. Suddenly the door knocked, catching their attention. "I go and check." Jun-Sang said and stepped toward the door. He opened the door and saw Mr. Kang and his son standing outside. "Hello Mr. Kang, welcome...please, come in." Jun-Sang opened the door wider for him to step inside. Mr. Kang did as told and looked around the place. He then turned his attention to Soo. She was busy doing other things, probably making sure everything was perfect. When she noticed him staring at her she raised her head and bowed at them. "Hello..." Mr. Kang gave her a small smile before looking at the table. "Looks like you already prepared everything." Jun-Sang smiled and went close to Soo-Yun, he pulled her closer by her waist before answering him. "My wife is perfect at everything." "No offense." Mr. Kang answered with a smile on his face. Jun chuckled and replied. "None taken. Shall we have dinner now?" They sat down at the table. "Thank you for letting me join your family." Mr. Kang started as soon as he took the first bite of the delicious food served. Soo was surprised, she wasn't expecting this from him. "It was our pleasure sir." Jun-Sang answered politely. Mr. Kang smiled and continued. Jung-So glanced at Soo-Yun, he was not satisfied by her smile, he wanted to know about her and Sang-Woon and how she ended up with Jun-Sang. They were silent until Mr. Kang spoke again. "Your mother, I hope she still has health and energy." Jun-Sang laughed lightly. "She's still, I believe in her." Mr. Kang smiled and nodded his head. Silence followed again and Soon Soo-Yun started playing with her food, while also stealing glances at Jun-Sang. "So Soo-Yun, you didn't tell me about your family. What's your father doing?" Mr. Kang asked while drinking his drink. Soo-Yun placed her plate on the table and turned her attention toward Mr. Kang. "My dad died in a car accident." She stated, without blinking an eye or showing any emotions. Jun-Sang gave her a sad look while Mr. Kang was startled by what was happening. "I'm sorry for your loss… I am truly sorry to hear that…" Soo-Yun only shook her head before smiling weakly. "What was your father's name?" Mr. Kang continued. "Leon Jang-Hon." She answered quietly. "What? Leon Jang-Hon was your father?" Mr. Kang exclaimed as soon as he heard what Soo-Yun had said. "He was the most knowledgeable CEO, I don't know why he didn't introduce you." He added while shaking his head. "I am also shocked by his death, it was not a normal death someone killed him." Soo nodded her head slowly. Mr. Kang took a few moments to think and continued. "He called me before his accident, he was so happy because finally he was able to work on his dream project. Mr. Leon wanted to tell me something, something very important. He was so stressed. I still remember his last words." He paused and took a deep breath. "What did he say?" Soo-Yun asked impatiently. "He said, '' I have hidden something and my daughter will find out soon." Soo frowned, confused what exactly he meant. She couldn't think of anything but the one phrase that kept repeating in her head, "Why did dad say that." "But… Why would he hide something?" Jun-Sang was also confused about it, why did he feel like Soo-Yun would know it one day. "It's because there is someone else involved." Soo-Yun turned toward Mr. Kang with curious eyes. "Is it someone from our company?" Mr. Kang shook his head before explaining further. "Someone who is really close to you." Soo-Yun nodded her head and decided not to ask further and continued eating. Meanwhile Jun-Sang was confused as hell. Sang-Woon dropped himself on the couch and poured drink into the glass for himself. "Who was that man, and why did he want me to join him?" He whispered to himself and shook his head. He took a sip of his drink but the coldness of the liquid didn't make any difference to how he felt. It just didn't sit right in his stomach. His hand went to his pocket and grabbed his phone, opening it to check if there were any new messages from unknown number, but all he got was an incoming message from that number again. He sighed as he pressed on her name to open the conversation. "Are you ready to join me?" He closed his eyes for a second before answering, "Why do you want me?" he questioned. "because you have a lot of knowledge about the Leon family." The person replied, causing Sang-Woon to be confused. "What do you want from them?" The person laughed. "You really think I want their money? they have something which is mine and I want to take it back." Sang-Woon closed the chat and gulped his drink. "What should I know?" he muttered to himself and put his phone away in his pocket, then proceeded to pour himself more alcohol. Soo-Yun and Jun-Sang bow at Mr. Kim and his son as they are done with their get together. "Thanks for coming." Soo-Yun said while smiling. "Thank You for dinner." Mr. Kang said and smiled. "I hope We'll have another chance to meet, Soo-Yun." "Me too, Mr. Kang," Soo-Yun answered. Soo-Yun sighed as the door closed. "Are you okay?" Jun-Sang asked worriedly. "I am fine." She said and walked to the living room. "Should I ask her or let it go?" He said under his breath. "Soo-Yun?" He called her out, catching her attention. "What?" She replied in a calm voice. "Do you know what they're talking about?" He asked. Soo-Yun shook her head negatively. "It doesn't matter anyways." Soo-Yun said and sat on the couch. "You look really troubled." He said and sat beside her. "Nothing to worry about." Soo said and turned the TV on. He sighed and decided not to push it further. But still, he couldn't help but feel bad because of the conversation between the two that was happening earlier. "Why did dad say that?" Soo-Yun wondered while watching T.V.
