Hungry For The Next Round

Soo-Yun was walking into the dark street, and Mr. Park's conversation kept running in her head. She was so lost in thought that she didn’t notice someone was following her. As she turned a corner, he was behind her. He had long hair. That was all Soo-Yun could say, as he suddenly grabbed her wrist and dragged her to an alleyway. “Let go of me!” Soo-Yun screamed, struggling against his strong grip. “Boss wants to meet you." “Who?! What do you want? Let me go!!” Soo-Yun was now screaming at him, tears streaming down her cheeks. “We have unfinished business with each other." Soo-Yun's heartbeat sped up. "What did I do?" He covered face with a black cloth and dragged her into his black car. He drove away from the city and into some woods. They were on a dirt road, but the darkness makes it even more scary. ‘Where are you taking me?" Her voice trembled as they kept driving deeper in the woods, only the sounds of the car's wheels crushing the leaves echo through the forest. The car stopped when there was no sound. They got out of the car and headed further towards the huge building. It seemed like something straight out of a horror movie. Soo-Yun gasped as he uncovered her face. She could tell he was smiling. She tried to get free of his hold, but he wasn't budging an inch. "Why are you doing this? Let go of me!" The man just chuckled. "You will see why once we're inside." Then they entered the building. They came to an open area where they saw some men waiting for them. "This must be her." one man said and approached Soo-Yun. "Leave her alone!" Mr. Park yelled angrily and threw himself toward the man. However, the man easily dodged. "You old man, stop it if you don't wanna die." The man started laughing hysterically. Soo-Yun stared at the scene in confusion. "What is going on here, Mr. Park?" She looked at the man who has been called Old Man. "I don't know. When you left the house I was in my room, last thing I remember." Mr. Park said, trying to calm himself down. "You mean they have been watching me from afar?!" Soo - Yun asked, fear laced in her voice. Mr. Park sighed. "Yes," "Why!?" "Because you have something which I want." Soo-Yun couldn't believe what she was hearing. "And what might that be?" "Don't act innocent." The man sneered. "Your father was working with people like us." "What do you mean?" She asked, while trying hard not to cry. "My parents weren't bad people." You think we'll let you escape that easily?" The man approached her. "I know nothing." She whispered. "But if you cooperate, there's no need to get hurt." She froze when a g*n was placed by her ear. "Now give me what I want or else." "I have nothing." She said quietly. Tears fell down her cheeks. "Please leave me alone." "You're lying." A g*n was pressed against her neck. "Give me the thing I want or else." Soo-Yun didn't move. "I swear I don't know what you are talking about." Soo-Yun sobbed. "She knows nothing." Mr. Park said while struggling. "Let her go. I will tell you everything." The man laughed. "You think I am a fool?" The man pulled her hair, making her yelp in pain. He put his Hand around her mouth and squeezed it harshly until she choked. The next second, he shoved her towards the man. "I told you she knows nothing." Mr. Park said again. The man looked at him in rage and put out the g*n in her mouth. "Okay, she knew nothing, right?" The old man nodded. The man was about to say something, but his phone rang. He took it out of his pocket and placed it in his ear. "Kill that man." someone said over the phone. He frowned and answered. "Alright." He hung up and went back toward Mr. Park. "It seems like you have to go." Mr. Park frowned when he pointed the g*n at his forehead. "Goodbye." with that, he shot Mr. Park. "Let's go, everyone." He ordered and everyone left from there. Soo-Yun was in shock. Her body froze at the spot. She was in horror. Someone killed Mr. Park in front of her. Everything went blurred. Her head was spinning. The next minute, she was lying on the floor unconscious. ~*~*~*~*~*~* Soo-Yun screamed and sat straight on her bed. She started breathing heavily. She was sweating profusely, her heart was beating so fast. Jun-Sang ran to her. She was pale and trembling so hard. "Shh..." Jun made Soo-Yun lay down on her bed and hugged her. "It's okay, shhh.. I'm here. Shh... Breathe with me." He softly spoke and started counting her breaths until she calmed down. After a few minutes, she was breathing normally and was still shaking a little. "Are you better?" he whispered in her ear. "No..." Soo shook her head. "They...they killed him." She said in between heavy breaths. "Who?" Jun-Sang asked, worried for Soo-Yun. "Mr. Park." He felt Soo-Yun being shaken again. "Mr. Park who?" He tried asking again. "The man who died where you found me." She whispered. "What do you mean?" he whispered. "Mr. Park..." she paused, thinking how much she should explain. She sat straight again, breathing heavily. "Someone kidn*pped me and him." She finally said. "What?!" Jun-Sang stood from the bed, completely shocked. "Where did you find me?" Jun-Sang sighed. "Soo-Yun, I found you on our lawn." She shook her head. "No, before." His expression changed. "When I came back, I found you lying on the ground on our house lawn." She grasped her hair in frustration. "No, you are lying." Jun-Sang looked at her and grabbed her hands gently. "No. I promise. When I came home, you were on the lawn." He caressed the top of her palm. "No...I was there. They killed him in front of me." She cried silently. "Relax Soo-Yun." Jun-Sang rubbed her back soothingly. "They killed him." She continued crying, unable to stop herself. He held Soo-Yun in his embrace tightly. "Believe me Jun-Sang." She sobbed. "Please believe me." She looked at him with teary eyes, breaking his heart into a million pieces. "Soo-Yun." He whispered. "Look at me." He cupped her face and wiped away her tears slowly, leaving soft kisses on both of her eyes, her cheeks, and finally her lips. "I will always believe you." His words gave her courage to start to talk. Jun smiled. "Let's get some rest, okay?" he kissed her forehead. "Do you trust me?" she nodded her head, staring into his eyes. "That's my brave girl." He pulled her close. "Now sleep. We can deal with those monsters tomorrow." She nodded her head and snuggled closer to him. ~*~*~*~*~*~* "Good, I want everyone to think that Soo-Yun is mentally disturbed after her father's death." He smirked. "Boss, we haven't found anything with her.' The man nodded. "We will find anything soon, don't worry." He gave him a look. "Start work on plan "B"." With that, he left the room.
