Won't Back Down

Jun-Sang closed the last file as he was done with work. He took his gaze on the wall clock and let out a tired sigh. "It's getting late. I hope Soo-Yun is alright." He muttered to himself, looking for his coat that was placed beside him. Once he had put it on he walked towards the front door of his office. "I will find out what she is hiding." He said while opening the door. As was standing in the doorway in terrifying condition. "What are you doing here?" He asked in shock.

The young man looked up at him and grinned. "Hi! You didn't call me so I just decided to come by." The man smirked at Jun-Sang. "I told you not to come here, what if anyone sees you?" Jun-Sang said, trying hard not to yell. He could imagine the consequences if someone saw this stranger being in the building.

"I would say we both already know they won't. Besides, I have some important things I need to tell you." He stated calmly.

"What is it?" Jun-Sang sighed knowing that he couldn't refuse this person now.

He gestured to the man to follow him and led them to one of the rooms on the floor. He stopped outside one door which opened when Jun put a hand on the knob. "Come in." He said. He watched as the man walked inside before closing the door behind him. It looked like a simple office but it was obviously very fancy. Jun-Sang turned around to look at the man who had taken a seat on one of the chairs in the middle of the room.

"So... What do you want?" Jun-Sang asked as he sat in his desk chair facing the other. His eyes fixed on the young man sitting across from him. "Your wife's life is in danger." He stated in an even tone. "What do you mean?" Jun-Sang asked, confused, the man sighed and threw the envelope in front of him.

Jun-Sang frowned and opened the envelope. His eyes widened after seeing the photos of the last incident. "When did that happen?" He asked, still unable to believe this was happening.

"Yes. Now listen to me closely because this is going to be important. They want something from her, something very important." The man said that it made Jun-Sang more confused. "What is that?" "I don't know yet, but I will find out soon."

Jun-Sang pulled the handbrake and got out of the car. The envelope was still in his hand. He made his way straight to his study room. As he entered the room, he walked to his desk and placed the envelope there. Jun-Sang glanced at the bookshelf and took out a red book which made the secret door open. He took the envelope and stepped in. Once he entered the door behind him closed. The room was a little dark. There was a wall which was covered with pictures, newspapers and some evidence. On the walls were also some shelves with old books and notes. A few pieces of paper were laying on top of each other and Jun-Sang went near them to look at it. It was Soo-Yun's father's picture.

"How the hell did those bastards know about that?" Jun-Sang asked out loud, making him realize that no one else was present, but himself.

"Soo-Yun, you really don't understand how powerful these people are. I don't even want to think about what kind of trouble they can cause to their own families if anything happens to her." He mumbled as he stared at the picture, taking it with him and placing it back to where he found it. "She better be alive." He added, then left his study room.

Soo-Yun headed out of the bathroom after taking a warm shower. The towel was warped around her waist as she stood in front of the mirror. Soo-Yun took another towel to dry her hair. Suddenly her eyes frowned as her gaze landed on her neck. She panicked when she realized her locket wasn't there.

"Damn it!" She muttered under her breath as she searched for it. "No, no, no..."

She ran out of the bathroom and into her bedroom. After turning on all the lights she started looking everywhere. Soo-Yun found nothing which made her even more panicked. She thought for a moment then she remembered that she was wearing it earlier today. "No way."

Soo-Yun headed downstairs in a hurry and was about to step out. Jun-Sang grasped her hand and pulled her back. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked her with a worried expression on his face.

"To get my-" she stopped talking when she noticed a man standing next to the window. "Jun-Sang." She whispered. "What?" He asked calmly. "D—Don't move." She managed to choke out, her voice breaking slightly.

"Why shouldn't I?" He asked, "Just...Don't move." She ordered. Soo-Yun's eyes widened in shock when the man took out the g*n and pointed at Jun-Sang's back. Soo-Yun looked at Jun-Sang who was wondering what happened to her.

Before Soo-Yun could explain something happened and she heard a gunshot echoing through the house. Jun-Sang felt a hard jerk in his body when Soo-Yun psuhed him with her other side. "Fuck." The man cursed and ran out of there.

Jun-Sang groaned and looked at Soo-Yun who was lying on top of him. Soo-Yun was breathing heavily. "Hey... Are you okay?" He asked concerned, and she nodded weakly in response. He helped her to get up. As he helped her to get up the felt rage inside burning him. "I'll go and check." Soo-Yun immediately held his hand and shook her head. "No, don't go, he will harm you." He sighed understanding her condition. "Security," He yelled top out of his lungs causing her to flinch.

Jun-Sang glared at his guards. "Where were you all?" He demanded to know. "We are sorry sir but the boss." One guard apologized, looking down. Jun-Sang shook his head. "What if someone had died?" He asked with anger in his voice. The guards looked uncomfortable. "Sir, we will be more careful." Jun-Sang smirked and shook his head. "You all are fired." They all gasped in surprise. "Wait....What?" They asked. "Didn't you hear me? Get out!" They bowed their heads and hurriedly exited the room.

"Now..." Jun-Sang turned around to face Soo-Yun. Her hand was tightly holding his. "Everything will be fine." Soo-Yun nodded her head.

"I am sorry boss." The man looked down while trembling. "Your sorry can't fix what you have done. I gave you a simple task, and you disappointed me. Is it so hard to kill Soo-Yun?"

The man who was known as the boss, laughed maniacally. He grabbed the younger's collar tightly, lifting him up from his feet. "You know what I will do with you now?" The man freakout in fear. It was obvious he knew the answer, but he didn't want the consequences.

"Please don't hurt me boss! Just leave me alive! I'll take the punishment!"

"It doesn't matter anymore because I have something better planned."

Soo-Yun closed her eyes, she was trying to sleep but still terrifying. She is scared; she doesn't know why this is happening to her. What had she done? "Why is this happening to me?" She was unable to sleep. "I need to find my locket first."
