Glancing around the parking lot, Morgan didn’t see any of her staff’s cars so she readied the door key to the office. She had received two emails back yesterday and as her mother had predicted, one was from Martha. She’d be stopping by Martha’s house around 5:30 and in the meantime, Martha would walk up the street and get the address of the house that had the garage sale. Or, close to the address. She knew what side of the street it had been on and knew the house had a nice front porch, because they had put some of the smaller items for sale on it. She was sure she could recognize it. Morgan heard a soft “woof” and turned to see a woman walking a grey and white Husky towards her on the sidewalk. The dog was a ball of fur with legs and was wagging his tail with each step.
