Morgan turned to Hector. “Thanks for coming with me on a Saturday,” she said. “Eric is a pain in the ass.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Hector laughed. “He’s got money, right? He can pay us for the job? I mean, why not take off a couple hours on a weekday instead of having us work on a Saturday?”
“Because Eric is a pain in the ass,” Morgan repeated. “And I’m charging him double time for this. He agreed, so I hope I don’t hear whining later.”
“Indoor cameras throughout the house…” Hector said thoughtfully. “Weird. I double checked and it’s not illegal though. Of course, a lot of people install their own cameras these days, but they’re usually aimed at entry points and baby cribs. Not bathrooms or teenager bedrooms.”
