They obviously couldn’t land in the corn, so she went back to Jenny and gently shook her awake. “We’re rescued,” she told the groggy girl. “The helicopter pilot saw me. They’ll come get us.” “How do you know it isn’t the cult?” Jenny asked anxiously. “They don’t have a military helicopter.” Morgan smiled. “Neither do the local police. It’s the good guys.” The sound of approaching ATVs got louder and louder. Not from the road, but from the other end of the field. Morgan and Jenny sat next to the corn waiting for them.
