The tension inside the closet grew thicker with every passing moment, and the silence seemed to magnify the awkwardness of the situation. Amber's heart raced as she stole glances at Sam, only to find him looking away each time their eyes met. It was as if they were both grappling with a million unspoken thoughts and emotions, trapped in the confined space with no clear way to navigate the situation. It was suffocating them, wanting so much to say only to have no words to voice it all out out. Frustrating even. Amber cleared her throat, attempting to break the ice. "So, um, do you think Liam will find anyone else soon?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Sam glanced at her, offering a small, uncertain smile. "I'm not sure. He's been pretty thorough with his searching though."
