Six months later one sunny afternoon Richard received a call from the headmaster of Karl’s school. There had been an incident. Karl had collapsed. His body temperature was way high. He was burning. His skin had started to exfoliate like snakes’. This was very unusual. When Richard touched him, he was sure he felt like he was vibrating. Katherine gave him first aid.
