CHAPTER FIVE A cat crossed the road into a nearby park. It sniffed here and there before escaping through an opening into the nearby yard. It looked around and saw a lot of cars parked in the car park. Suddenly the big wooden door opened. A man came outside and lit his cigarette. He started smoking. He looked at the cat and started whispering something before blowing smoke into the cat’s face. The cat escaped ending up banging on the car tires as smoke blinded its eyes. The man walked back into the court and sat in the members of the public area. Silverdale was smartly dressed up as usual. He was well built with a big stomach which he supported with cross-belts.
