I find Jocasta in the Fell Bog, exactly as planned. But meeting Elyse the harpy? Not something I expected. As a rule, forest harpies avoid any place without trees. Normally, bogs are out of the question.
And Elyse is one of the oldest forest harpies around. I’ve dealt with her many times, mostly when regular wolves—what the fae call lupines—stray onto shifter territory. Harpies are fiercely protective of lupines, especially pups. I’m curious why Elyse would know Grayson so well, but the harpy wouldn’t tell me much.
Which in a way, reveals a lot.
