Clementine can clearly remember that year in Davao. She worked as a part time student. That was her first time to work in a restaurant chain.
She really did everything to cope on her own. Hindi na ata mabibilang sa kamay niya kung gaano karaming plato na ang nabasag niya.
She was put to dishwashing dahil nagagalit na ang mga manager sa tuwing siya ang waitress. She would end up slipping while holding the trays or sometimes spilling the food on some customers.
She strived to be a top student in school. She graduated top of her department. Ilang gabi ang sinunog niya sa pag-aaral. She kept in mind na hindi gaya ng kaniyang mga kaklase roon, wala siyang business na hahawakan. She was a normal student and for her to land a high paying job, she needed to study harder than everyone else.
