Sastra finished her wine, and found that she felt delightfully alert to the man sat across from her, yet numb to the quiet chatter in the rest of the tavern. Then there was a steady beat of drums and the playful lift of a pair of fiddles, she sat up. Cheeks flushed from both the warm night air, and the wine.
