The storm blew itself out in the early hours of the morning. Hours that neither Sastra and Jason had wasted. Taking the time to explore one another again and again. Seeking out those places that might bring the other to ruin. Which caress or taste might leave their lover eager and stirring for more. The rattle of shutters against the glass panes slowly eased, the howl of wind falling and the thunder long distant. Unwilling to let the hours of night slip away unmarked, Sastra couldn’t take her eyes off the man who lay beside her on the pillows. As though he would vanish if she looked away. It seemed Jason returned the sentiment. Though his eyes were dark with exhaustion, heavy with sated desire, she found him looking back at her.
