Kaden POV.
My heart is in my mouth as I take the weight of Courtney’s collapsed form. I lift her and give a scathing look at Chief.
“If anything has happened to them, I will f*****g kill you!” I snap as I walk past him and up to our room. The members are on their feet, seeing the unconscious Courtney in my arms. I ignore them all. My only focus is on getting Courtney to the safety of our room.
“Please baby, wake up. Please be OK,” I whisper as the tears threaten to fall. I get her into our room and onto the bed. I choke on a sob, seeing her prone form.
The doctor enters with Fabio, Chief, Wolf, Richie, and Max.
“Venom, let me check her over.” Doc says as I step back, but keeping my eyes on her.
I ignore Chief. He caused this. All the stress, the betrayal, has all been caused by him.
