Thanks to Katya, we arrived back within four hours. She let us use her cargo plane. She understood the urgency for me to get back to Courtney. She needs me.
We ride up to the clubhouse and dismount. But the place is anything but calm. I walk inside. My gut is screaming at me that something is wrong.
The place is in pandemonium. What the f**k happened here? s**t, Courtney! I run through the clubhouse and up the stairs and stop in my tracks. My eyes widen when I see Chief standing at the top. His cheeks are wet and his eyes are bloodshot.
