Well, this is fun. Not! It has been hours and not one contraction. But apparently I am in active labour even without having them. Bean’s heart rate is great, and she is showing no signs of distress. Which is a good thing, at least someone is ok.
Daddy, however, is losing his mind. He is pacing, snarling and being a pain in the ass. The poor doctors are ready to kick him out if he doesn’t calm down.
“Ok, Courtney. Still no contractions?” the doctor asks and I shake my head. I need to pee and move around, but I have monitors on my bump listening to bean.
“Nope, not one. Can I go to the bathroom, please?” I ask, and Kaden looks pissed as he glares at the doctor.
