“Yes, I really do. I know this is hard to wrap your mind around, but I do believe it. Like mother like daughter.” I say to him, and he lifts his head to look at me. He gulps and smiles softly nodding his head.
“You are so much like Caitlyn. You do have her strength and her love for life. Don’t let that part of yourself go Courtney. I know you want your revenge for what has happened to her and you. Revenge is a dark path my girl, don’t let it consume you.” he says then sighs and shakes his head before he continues.
“I agree, we go after Chloe and her mom.” He says and I sigh with relief as I look at my grandpa and he looks pissed.
“This is not how we do things.” He says his fists balled tight until his knuckles turn white.
