Chapter Thirteen- Time to get to work

Amelia POV

Class is finally over, time for the lunch period. I decided to head to the cafeteria to grab some food, that's when I spot Alloy getting picked on buy a group. "Stupid little omegas like you don't need food " I can hear one of the boys saying to her. "Yeah your nothing but a pathetic mutt who you mummy and daddy didn't want" a blonde bimbo says to her shoving her head. She doesn't move, just keeping looking at the floor. They proceeded to take her food and walk off, I walk up to the counter and grab two trays making my way to Alloy. I stand beside her and she finally looks up with tears in her eyes but a smile on her face. I pass her the tray " here, eat" and sit in front of her.

I had a perfect view off the other table of Misfits from my seat "are you going to tell me what that was about". I say while taking a bite of an apple, she looks at me and then looks over her shoulder. "They are the future betas and gamma's of the pack" I can't help but laugh "really that lot, that's who your brother chose to lead this pack. What a joke". I get up and walk over to there table, they are all talking among them self ignoring me. I slam my hands on their table the whole cafeteria falls silent, before one of them goes to speak I put a finger up. "All of you are to go to the principal's office for detention", "What the hell did we do" the blonde bimbo glares at me. With a smile I say " for bullying Alloy, this school has a strict no bullying policy. Infrom Mr Bloodbrave that Miss Wolfenstein sent you". They sit there in a gaze, "now" I yell at them and they all leave quickly. I walk back over to Alloy and continue eating, she has smile on her face.

Ryker's POV

Finally lunch time, I'm starving. I get up to leave my office when there is a knock on the door "sir there is a group of students here to see you". Gah "very well send them in", five students pile into the room. I recognise them all from my pack, "what's going why are you disturbing my lunch ? " I almost growl at them. "We've been sent here for detention" my future betas says. "What did you do" "nothing alpha" this comes from a little blonde girl I'm guessing the betas mate. "Then who you sent you here" " some weird lady call miss Wolfenstein". I look at them more seriously this time " don't make ask again what did you do !". They all flinch, "just picking on a omega alpha" said the future beta "who". At once they all said "Alloy", I should of known she did say she would be keep a close eye on Alloy. "Very well two weeks detention after school". They all start to complain "seriously because some b***h is protecting Alloy" the blonde girl must of forgot who she is speaking too. I growl and the room falls silent "make it a month and one more out burst from you " I say looking at the girl "and you will be banished from the pack".

She looks mortified but these pups need to learn their place.

Amelia POV

Finally school is over, I head out to the parking lot and see Alloy waiting by the truck. I give her a warm smile "ready to get to work", she tilts her head to the side giving me a puzzled look. "The way I see it I saved your life so you owe me" she starts to looked worried. "Don't worry your just gonna help me fix up the house" this brings a smile to her face "that I can do" she says smiling and hoping in the truck. I walk around to my side and notice Mr Bloodbrave watching us, I give him a warm smile and wave. He returns the wave but not the smile.

We picked up some orders that had come in on the way home, first thing was fixing the roof and windows so we can finally sleep inside. As soon as we step out of the truck we are smashed with fur and wet kisses, looks like someone missed us. We get to work fixing the place while the pups play. Three hours pass and the sun is starting to go down, we managed to get the roof done at least. I start to think about dinner when I hear an old Chevy impala heading our way. I climb down and Alloy procedes to hide behind me. She obviously knows the owner, soon the pack is Infront of us banjo in the lead teeth out snarling. The impala pulls into the drive way and the driver procedes to wind down the window. They hold out a bag of take-away, "I come in peace and with food".
