It's been well over months since the Vane family got defeated.
Yet,the kingdom was far from healed.
Every village we visited told the same story.
Children lay weak with fever.
Farmers coughed blood and couldn't farm their produce.
Mothers sat beside sickbeds,praying their loved ones would survive another night.
Whatever the Vanes had spread throughout the small folks continued to claim lives,even after their defeat.
I knew if we really wanted to rebuild the kingdom.
