It is difficult to determine the level of Roger’s enthusiasm in finding a new job. Such an accomplishment would result in relocation and the end of his chastity. But I am not convinced he finds that all the elements of my paradigm bring anxiety and distress.
Could it be that Roger has a non-vanilla side that complements mine?
Still, about once a week I must release him from his steel cage and his neck collar and unlock his business attire. He’ll spend most of the day in an interview or two then return and wait for me at the apartment door. He has no key, and I give him only subway and cab fare, so he has nowhere to go but to patiently, and humbly, await the end of my workday.
Then he’s to strip naked, don the collar, and depending on the time of day and my mood, maybe back to the
