Joy left to try the dress on whiherFred patiently waited for her. Joy came back with the dress on and Fred couldn't stop staring.

JOY POV

Fred went back to his room while I continued what I was doing, I couldn't stop asking myself what was going on cus I didn't really understand, I continued smiling to myself unconsciouly, This guy is giving me butterflies in my belle, such a nice and romantic guy, His girlfriend is sure enjoying him alot, Huh.... hold on a minute, what am i even thinking? But wait oh, why is Fred so nice to me? what is it about me that is drawing me closer to him? Anyways, he is such a nice friend to me, Its great having some one around like him who cares about me.

FRED POV

Oh my God, whats happening to me? I feel like am flying over the moon, Hope it's not what am thinking? Am I falling for this girl? No no no, it can't be, I must be mistaking.

Joy is such a sweet girl, always happy and smiling so maybe I just like her as a friend and because of her personality. There is a new restaurant place I want to try out and I also think i should take Joy along with me maybe she can catch a little fun and relief herself a litte from the stress she must going through. Although she isn't showing it but I can still see through her that she is exhausted and wants to breathe and am willing to help her relieve from stress a little bit.

Fred, I heard my name and a knock on my room door only to discover that it was dad calling me.

Yes dad " I said and opened the door"

Ok, I wanted to inform you that you will be managing the family business from now henceforth since you are in Nigeria. I need assistance in managing the company and I also want you to relieve me a little, I know you don't know much about the business for now so and the most senior staff in the company will lead you on so you can handle and manage the company in my absence, Is that ok "Dad asked"

Alright dad " I said"

Dad, Is mom back home? I asked

No son but am sure she will be back soon

Also, your siblings will be transferred to a boarding school by tomorrow, It was your mom's Idea

Nothing much, but I learnt the boarding school is one of the best in the states, "Dad said"

Dad left and I hurriedly left my room to go inform Joy about the news, I would no longer be available at home most times and I will also become busy too, But Joy seemed so excited to hear i will join dad in managing the company meanwhile I was thinking she wouldn't be happy because she was going to miss me.

So you mean you will be managing the family business from now henceforth, Thats the best news i have ever heard in a long while now and I am so happy for you "Joy said"

Are you that happy? Does that mean you wouldn't miss me?

Am your only friend remember? Besides who is going to be helping you out sometimes like I do? "I said"

Hahahahahhhahah "she laughed", So many questions at a time, So how do you want me to answer, where do I start from " she asked"

But you have to think about your future, and you also need to help your dad out in managing the family business just as he has said, Remember you are the first and only son of your parents so you have some responsibility to perform in the family. Besides you will be a boss in the company which accords so much respect. " she said smiling"

And immediately I laughed.

And as for who is going to be helping me out here sometimes, Don't worry about that cus I have been doing this for years now so am very much used to it and i can take care of myself ok?
