THE MATCH MAKING

Mrs Margaret and Mrs Catherine had made plans to make Fred and Mirabel meet and the meeting was to be in Mrs Catherine's house, Mrs Catherine made sure to keep Fred at home by claiming she is sick and needed to be taken care of by her son while on the other hand Mrs Margaret told Mirabel to accompany her to go see her friend Mrs Catherine who was sick. Mrs Margaret and Mirabel left for Mrs Catherine's house.

Knock, Knock, Knock

Who is there? "Joy asked"

Its me pls " Mrs Margaret responded"

Hold on a minute pls "Joy said" She opened the door and welcomed Mrs Margaret and Mirabel and also asked them to come in.

Am here to see Mrs Catherine " Margaret said"

Okay ma'am, Let me get her for you " Joy said and left.

Look, who is here, Mrs Catherine said while walking in.

My Lovely friend, " Margaret responded and they both laughed.

Its so good to see you, Mirabel how are you doing " Mrs Catherine asked"

Am doing great ma, Am so sorry about your health I learnt you are ill "Mirabel said"

Thanks so much dear for making out time out of your busy schedule to come see me " Mrs Catherine responded"

Pls have a sit and feel at home okay... Uhmm let me introduce my son to you, I will be right back, Mrs Catherine said and left to call Fred.

Mrs Catherine went into Fred's room, she asked him to put on a nice shirt, trouser and also to look good. Fred who was confused and didn't understand the reason for all of that asked his mom.

Mummy, I don't understand what's all of this for?"He asked*

I want to introduce you to my childhood friend and her daughter, Mrs Catherine responded

You mean all this for just an introduction, besides I thought you said you are sick so where is all this energy coming from? Fred asked

Don't ask any questions, just do as I say "Mrs Catherine responded.

Alright, Am done lets go, Fred said

Walking into the sitting room, Fred saw Mrs Margaret and her daughter Mirabel, Immediately Mirabel saw Fred she was carried away by his handsomeness, he was tall, dark in complexion, hairy and looked so gentle. Fred walked in and greeted Mrs Margaret and her daughter Mirabel.

Goodday ma'am "Fred said"

Goodday son, you're such a good looking young man, how are you doing? " Mrs Margaret responded"

Am doing excellently well ma'am, hope you are good? "Fred asked"

Of course I am, Let me introduce you to my daughter , Her name is Mirabel, she is a barrister who works in a law firm."Mrs Margaret said"

Nice to meet you beautiful " Fred greeted Mirabel"

Same here handsome "Mirabel responded"

Mrs Margaret and Mrs Catherine both looked at themselves in excitement as their children both see themselves as handsome and beautiful, that means its probably going to work out between them. This must be much easier than we thought, they said to themselves.

I prepared some delicious delicacies for everyone, why don't we go to the dinning table and do justice to it " Mrs Catherine said smiling"

I can't wait " Mrs Margaret responded"

They all went to the dining table to eat and enjoy their meal, After a while of silence Mrs Margaret popped a question at Fred.

So Fred, I learnt you schooled in Canada so what was your discipline? "she asked"

Business Administration ma'am,

Oh wow, that makes you a business tycoon I guess." Mrs Margaret said"

He is also in charge of the family business now " Mrs Catherine added"

Thats good "Mrs Margaret added"

Then Mrs Catherine turned to Mirabel and said

Barrister Mirabel, What a good title at a very young age " Mrs Catherine said"

Thanks so much ma, Thanks to God and my very supportive Parents "Mirabel said"

Well, After the meal I think we will have to give the children sometime to talk and get to know themselves, right? Mrs Catherine asked and turned to Margaret.

Of course, Their both moms are friends so I think they should be friends too, its not a bad idea." replied Margaret"

Immediately Fred turned to his mom because to him it wasn't necessary, besides she said it was just an introduction so what is she saying now " He thought in his mind"

Meanwhile Mirabel loved the idea and she was already smiling at herself.

Fred looked that her and realized she loved the idea and was so cool with it.

After the meal, They all went back to the sitting room while Mrs Catherine and Mrs Margaret gave their children some space so they could talk.
