Chapter 14

1722 Words
Everyone was ushered into the living area, where Cameron welcomed them all by cracking open a beer. When he noticed that Courtney had just cleaned her hair, it caused him to let out an internal expletive. Anyone may easily fool themselves into believing that they were responsible for an action when, in reality, they were not. "So," he said to Lily and Aaron. As she got closer to Cameron, she looked at the two of them with a raised eyebrow. The sight of Lily's cheeks turning red made him feel sick to his stomach. Courtney and Aaron were giving him a headache, so he demanded that they leave his property as soon as possible. Oh, no, she said, we just ate lunch together a little while ago. The pinkness in her cheeks became more pronounced. "Oh! A date? You two have a very endearing chemistry together. It resulted in a grin appearing on her face. "Oh, and by the way," added Lily, "do you happen to have a dress for tomorrow night?" What do you say we go out tomorrow night? Aaron gave the two women a cursory look before making his choice between them. Inside, Cameron was seen sitting still and angry. He started downing his drink quite quickly in an effort to calm himself down. We have made up our minds to go to Medusa's. Courtney's facial expression of rolling her eyes conveyed her disgust. You are free to spend the evening with Lily. As Cameron drained the last of the beer, his hand came to rest with a loud thud on the top of the empty can. He got to his feet and proceeded directly into the kitchen after leaving his seat. He discarded the empty can that he had just used and grabbed another one from the stack. Because he truly does not want to go, he is acting immaturely about the situation. The itch was from Courtney. "How did you do it?" That is the one location that he abhors with a burning zeal. Aaron's unmistakable gasp of amazement could be heard throughout the room. After listening to Lily argue her case, he caved in. Courtney maintained her arrogant and egotistical demeanour throughout the conversation. Aaron, I guess it wouldn't be a problem if you stopped by. I'd like to get back to my question, which was cut off in the middle of being answered. She exhaled a long and loud sigh. Is that what you mean to say? I had no idea that he felt that strongly about it. The innocent words that Lily spoke were tainted with guilt. Cameron encouraged himself by saying, "Feel better about the debt you still owe me." He was able to pull himself together with a snide grin on his lips. He managed to pull himself together. Don't worry about it; he's simply acting like a child at this point. To quote, "Unlike you, Lily genuinely cares about other people," Courtney, Lily cares about others. To put it another way, "No one here shows any interest in me at any time." Her response was succinct and direct. The correct response is "yes," and the item in question is a dress. Lily, the intruder, pushed her way in. Having said that, I think it's time I got some new shoes. Would you be able to suggest a nice place for us to go? Again, Lily uses her ninja-like skills to deflect danger. He walked back into the room but did not return to the seat he had previously occupied next to Courtney. Instead, he stood next to the couch. To phrase it another way, "Yes, girl!" Shopping for new shoes is one of my favourite forms of retail therapy, but there are many others. It's time to pack up and go! The girl let out a squeal. There is a brief gap before we say, "Oh, okay." Lily struggled to get up but managed to do so eventually. We won't keep you waiting too long! The tone of Courtney's voice conveyed a mixture of confusion, excitement, and eagerness. "We won't keep you waiting," they said. Aaron turned around to look at Lily as they were walking away from her. Cameron cast a glance across at his friend, who was now paying attention to what was happening on the screen. When he tried to explain to Lily how he felt, he found that he was at a loss for words. It was inappropriate for him to inquire. There is a chance that Lily might view his attempt to portray himself as a protective best friend as being in poor taste. When Cameron finally worked up the nerve to speak up, Jaxon had already entered the room. He threw in the towel and went back to hanging out with the boys. His thoughts kept going back to his phone, and he kept wondering whether or not they would come back at all and when they would. After four hours, the pair came again, and this time they made quite a ruckus on their way in. While Courtney appeared to be wide awake, Lily's appearance suggested that she was close to passing out. Around three suitcases were Lily's maximum, but Courtney had a significant number more. You're a fool if you bring all of that garbage into this room. Complaining, he watched as Courtney threw her baggage all over the floor. To put it another way, "I just wanted to show you what I've got!" Her delivery had a certain vivacity to it. Something like this is something you should do all in your power to stay away from. He parted ways with her by walking away. "Hey, I just picked up some questionable items," the speaker said. "Nope." To paraphrase what she said, "I did too." A mellow addition came from Lily, and her cheeks became pink. Instantaneously, the focus of the three males on the scene shifted to her. "Seriously?" They received an angry glare from Courtney. I am met with silence and outright rejection, but whenever she is in the room, you all behave like swine. I am met with silence and outright rejection. There is no need to experience anything novel at this moment. Let's go to your room right away, Lily. Come with me. Lily went into the second bedroom with complete indifference as she followed the annoying blonde. The sound of Cameron's stomach making grumbling noises was heard; Aaron didn't seem to care, and Jaxon pouted. "Lily!" The sound of his whimpering could be heard all the way down the hallway. If I ask you, "Will you make dinner?" You eat the stuff that she makes, right? Jaxon wept even more tears at this point. "How come you're constantly able to attract the most beautiful women?" To begin with, you have dated a significantly larger number of women than I have in my lifetime. I only have one that is any good, so that makes two. After sitting for a while, Cameron stood up to do some stretching. After a brief interval of time had passed, Lily emerged, her eyes quickly scanning the room before landing on Cameron. Is everyone going to have something to eat? "Just toss them out; it makes no difference to me." Although Cameron was attempting to be amusing, his tone was not quite right. "Ouch! Asshole." Since Jaxon acted as if he had passed away in an instant, it is likely that he was struck by a heart arrow. However, I need to leave right now because my father is going to come see me tomorrow. Aaron leaped to his feet and hurled the garbage can in his direction. Lily, how about we getting together once again for lunch? He indicated her understanding with a knowing wink of his eye. "See ya." At the conclusion of his remarks, he made a gestural remark with his hand up. You had lunch with him, I take it, right? This is a typical example of Jaxon displaying his puppy-dog eyes. Sorry about that; I was hoping to be a pioneer in this field. "You two need to take a deep breath and relax." Cameron wore an angry-looking face. "Okay, okay! I can't wait to catch up with each and every one of you tomorrow! Aaron, aware of his friend's enthusiasm for the nighttime scene, had let him in on the plan. Now we're down to the last two. Cameron whispered something to himself in a low voice. After hearing Lily snort, he peered down at her to see what she was doing. Where is the humour in this? He moved closer to her, a broad grin spreading across his face as he did so, and his hands moved to cup her hips as he did so. "Nothing." To put it more succinctly, she radiated happiness. Posing the question, "What do you want me to prepare for you?" It doesn't matter how you get it done; we accept it. Someone in the background made a sound like they were cleaning their throats. "Hey Cam, do you have a second to chat with me?" Courtney gave Cameron's hold on Lily her whole attention as she observed it. I'm sorry, but you won't have any other choice than to leave. There is a payoff to being kind. Lily avoided eye contact with him as she developed a pout and moved away from him. He was able to hear the door to the refrigerator being opened, followed by the sound of pots being clanged together and the ticking of the igniter on the stove. When he turned to look at Courtney, he noticed that she had a peculiar expression on her face. When she appears, I am reduced to nothing. The only thing you were was a booty call, " After some time had passed, he heaved a long sigh. which finally came to an end when she arrived on the scene. Her iris shrank in size. I would appreciate it if you would leave my room so that I can provide proper consideration for my roommate. She gave him a direct look, indicating that she did not believe what he was saying but that she would not argue with him. She stomped down the hallway and out of the building after hastily gathering her items in the previous room.
