Numb

Chapter one

Sea stood at the door witnessing what he had hoped and prayed for not to happen.if he had known,he would remain in his room and avoid this but it’s too late to regret now.sea watched as the only one who made his heart beat ,the only one he is deeply and deeply and utterly in love with confess his love to another as he gave her the smile with dimpled cheeks he one gazed at him with.Sea had only meant to return the jacket Jason gave to him but now,he wished he hadn’t.he felt Numb and stiff as he quietly and carefully closed Jason’s apartment and slipped away.As he walked under the scorching sun, sky opened its mouth and poured down rain with cars and bikes moving on both intersections,he recalls where it all began.sea could vividly write an essay on it.

Sea remembered the day they met like it was yesterday.he had just moved into the neighborhood with his parents and little sister.he was twelve,small for his age and clutching the cookie basket that was meant for their neighbor when suddenly a dog lunged at him,terrified and startled,he immediately fell into the pool beside the house.suddenly a boy jumped in after him and quickly brought him out.looking up,sea saw a skinny, tanned boy,eyes bright with confidence staring at him and smiling sheepishly.

“Hey-you okay?”

“Y-yeah”sea managed “thank you.”

“Good,” Jason said offering a hand smiling “I’m Jason,your neighbor”

“Sea” sea said taking the hand “I’m sorry,the cookies was meant for you” sea said as they both looked at the now wet cookies in the pool

“It’s okay” smiling,Jason said handing him a towel.that was the beginning. and sea even at twelve was doomed.Jason became the sun in sea’s small universe.they became inseparable and as time went on,they were high school seniors.
