Chapter six

Sea’s pov

Sometimes I myself wonder what it would be like if sea had remembered the night we had our first kiss.and on the other hand,I wish he never remembers it at all because I fear his reaction will totally break me.even his reaction to the question of me being his boyfriend seemed disgusting to him.him saying it’s impossible made his friends look at with pity and nervously,I weakly supported his words barely fighting back tears.

“Yeah,we’re best friends” I said while chugging the whole of my drink

“Woah-calm down sea,you’ll choke”Akin said with concern and I just gave him an awkward smile.

“Let’s stop talking about it,I can’t even imagine” Jason said disgust written all over his face stabbing more holes into my heart.

“Yeah-let’s drink.the semester starts next week”Solar said trying to stir the atmosphere

“Yeah-cheers”dean said and we clicked our glasses.my eyes finds Jason’s and surprisingly he’s staring back at me with an unreadable expression,I nervously looked down and continued with my drink.they continued their conversation while I sat and drowned myself in alcohol.

It was midnight when Jason decided that it was time for us to go home.he booked a ride and left his car in the bar’s parking lot because we were both too drunk to drive.getting to his apartment,we managed to get to his room before we both collapsed side by side on the bed facing the ceiling.suddenly Jason turned his body facing me as he whispered to me in the dark.

“Hey…”he said softly

“Mmm?” I said equally facing him

“You’re my best friend.you know that right?” Jason said

“You’re mine too”I said my throat tightening and heart breaking.Jason smiled eyes still on me

“You’re not ever gonna leave me right?”he asked

“Why would you ask that?” I asked him confused.he just smiled and said

“Well dad left and I don’t ever want to loose you”I was both confused and drained because I know he will never look at me the way I look at him

“promise me sea”Jason said sounding desperate

“Alright.I promise never to leave you Jason” I finally said and he relaxed.

“Let’s stay friends forever,okay?”Jason said,I just nodded and continued staring at the ceiling.I felt him staring at me so I gradually turned again to face him.raising my brows,I asked him

“Are you okay”I asked but he merely continued staring “Jason,Jason?”I called as I tapped him lightly startling him “are you okay?”I asked again worried but instead of replying,he held my cheeks brought me closer,our breath were practically missing together.the room became increasingly hot as we drew closer.scared and nervous,I gently whispered his name,he stared straight into my eyes and kissed me hard.I gently pushed him away..

“J-Jason?” I said startled and disoriented

“Yeah?”he said softly.confused I brushed my hair with my fingers as I looked at my feet

“What-what was that?”I asked staring at him

“I-I don’t know,you just looked so pretty”Jason said as he roughly grabbed me again and continued kissing me.my toes curled,the butterflies in my stomach erupted as I became lost in the kiss.we kissed each other as if we were starving,it was intense and passionate.gradually Jason began leaving bites and kisses on my neck and shoulders,his hands trailing all over my body leaving goosebumps in their wake.the sound of our kiss filled the room.I could hear myself making weird sounds as we continued making out.i wish this night never ends and maybe just maybe,Jason does have some feelings for me.
