I didn't want to leave Bianca. I wanted to stay with her. My girl. My love. But I saw the look in her eyes. It made me hurt so much Cortez cried out. Zoe was definitely ready for anything Cortez and I wanted to do. But Bianca... She isn't. Not yet. Because the look I saw in her eyes was fear. Do you really think our mate is scared of us? Cortez asks me quietly on the way to the hospital. I have no idea what to say at first. She looked pretty f*****g scared back there. Yet I feel it wasn't because of us. Maybe her past... Why won't she just tell me? I want to help her. I want to protect her. No, Cortez, I don't think it was us she was afraid of. But I do know that when I find out who it was I am going to kill them slowly and painfully so they can feel the pain inflicted on my princess.
