The weekend crawled by, but Krissy was feeling delightfully refreshed as she slid back into her routine. She sighed as she answered emails and returned phone calls. Surprisingly, Taylor had filled in for her beautifully. He even watered her plants and tidied her desk. And she couldn't be sure if he simply left it there or got it for her, but there was a package of her favorite peppermint gum next to her keyboard and a new box of tissues. Hmm.
