“I can't…" He said slowly, looking away from me. “I can't do this with you right now.”
My heart sank as he turned around and left.
“What do you mean, Daemon?” I tried so hard to hide the pain in my voice. “You're going to choose Oliver? Is she even supposed to be a choice in the first place?”
