Swimming Pool

There was a swimming pool between the border of Prostik Village and Hetric City. No one would remain in that swimming pool after 7 pm because villagers claimed that there were ghosts in the swimming pool, yet no one was confident about it because no one ever dared to enter the swimming pool since many people had heard the screaming and sobbing from the pool after 7 pm.

One day, a family migrated from the city to the village. Just the next day after moving to the village, three children, one girl and two boys, of that family went to the swimming pool. At closing time, the children did not exit the swimming pool. Instead, they hid somewhere in the swimming pool.

As the clock chimed seven, children heard people’s screaming and sobbing from the pool, but they saw no one around them. They continued playing in the pool, and then they abruptly sighted someone near the swimming pool’s office. Children called upon that person to find out his identity, but he disappeared.

After a few minutes, they saw a horde of youngsters and adults approaching them. The children were petrified now as they discovered that the people moving toward them were ghosts—the ghosts: translucent, b****y, and rotting flesh.

When the children returned to their normal state of mind, they screamed for help, but unfortunately, no one was there to hear their voices. And before the ghosts could kill them, the children ran away from there and hid in the office. They were terrified, but they had no way to escape from the swimming pool.

Their parents reached the swimming pool when a villager was going to his home. When he saw the children’s parents trying to enter the swimming pool, he stopped them and advised them to go back to their home. At the same time, the children looked out of the window to find someone for help and saw their parents standing at the gate of the swimming pool.

The girl ran out of the office to reach her parents, but ghosts captured her and brought her back to the pool. However, the door closed automatically behind her.

When her brothers tried to exit the office, it seemed like the door lock jammed because of which they couldn’t open the door.

On the other side, the girl was trying to flee, running from one side to another, but ghosts were everywhere. After a while, she tumbled as her strength faded.

Her parents were watching everything while standing outside of the swimming pool. They wanted to save their children, yet they were petrified.

An enormous, spine-tingling ghost came out of the water. He took the girl in his hands and ate her legs and arms. Then, he threw her dead body outside the swimming pool, which fell on the children’s parents.

The parents shouted in thunderous voices, and then sobbed aloud, jerking the gate.

Meanwhile, one of the ghosts brought other children to the pool. But fortunately, the children’s parents succeeded breaking the gate’s lock, and they entered the swimming pool.

“What do you want? Why do you kill our children?” they yelled.

The biggest, spine-tingling ghost heard their voices and came out again from the water. He saw the man, and said in a tremulous voice, “All of us want to take revenge on your husband. He knows everything about us. Ask him.”

“I am ready to die, but please leave my wife and children. They don’t know anything about this,” said the man.

“I will leave your wife and children, but—” continued the ghost.

“What is the reason to kill my husband? I want to know the reason,” interrupted the lady.

“A few months ago, your husband came here for his business dealings. He wanted to build a mall here, but all the villagers denied his request. One night, he entered the swimming pool and mixed some chemicals in the water,” replied the ghost. “The next morning, people were killed in a frightening manner when they came here in the pool. The chemicals, which your husband mixed in this water, burned everyone’s skin and was absorbed into their bodies. Only in a few seconds, all of us died here just because of your husband’s sinful act.”

As the enormous ghost stopped telling the story, other ghosts blocked the way so that the man couldn’t run anywhere. The biggest incredible ghost raised his hand parallel to the ground, and a long wooden stick appeared out of nowhere in his fist. The ghost stabbed the man with the stick, and let his wife and children return to their home.
