I scroll through social media for sometime laying in my bed.
I hear a knock on my door and get up to open the door.
I find mom standing there when I open the door.
"Come down for dinner, Eve." Mom says.
"Okay, I will be down in a few minutes." I say.
"Dry your hair before coming down, don't catch a cold." Mom says. I nod with a smile, and she walks away.
Closing the door I unwrap my hair and head to my bathroom to blow dry them.
After drying my hair I take my phone and head downstairs.
I see Mom and Adrain sitting on the sofa.
I look around but don't see Ashton.
He isn't down yet.
I go to the sofa and sit opposite to mom and Adrain.
"Evelyn, how was your day?" Adrain asks smiling at me.
I smile back as I say, "It was fine."
"Are you adapting to your new school well?" He asks
