“What is going on with Phoenix? Why are there guards posted outside of her room and why are her hands wrapped together like that?” Casey asked, trying to keep the anger that she could feel rising in her chest. To her, it seemed like her daughter was being treated more like a prisoner of war than a victim of an attack by a crazed rogue wolf. “Her powers are going crazy with her being unconscious. She has almost set her room on fire several times when her hands slid apart. It was the only thing that I could think of to keep her hands together so that her powers could cancel each other out. The guards are more to keep people that she doesn’t know out. That way she has no reason to feel threatened when she wakes up,” Grant kind of rushed to explain. “Her powers? What are you talking about?”
