Part 2: I want to call a friend

After his pep talk, Nathan left. My hair spread widely as I laid down the soft bed. I stare at the ceiling with eyes awake but not here. For some reason I can't stay far away from Mackenzie. I feel locked and alone. I need to bring her here. My breath shortens. I can't stay here away from her. 'One seven ten, one seven ten.' No 'one seven ten' my fingers click trembling 'one seven ten, one seven ten' shut up, each side of my eyes feel wet and burning. As it quickly as it quickly left but the chest pain is still there. I turn my head to my right  'Dad lays on the cold floor. He lays right next to me. My hand reaches for his "It's okay, Laura." His head is bleeding but he doesn't let pain stop him. His wet blue eyes stare right into mine, so familiar but so painful to look at. I smile at him and he smiles as the memory slowly fades away.' My lips don't even quiver as I stare there coldly. My hand becomes takes a fist of the bedding. They haven't done anything yet to me and when they do "I can strike peaceful" I whisper at the silence, my smiles forms cold and my eyes stare out of the window. The moon greeds me and the night tries to fill a void that can be filled. My eyes drift to sleep as nothing had happen. 

I slowly open my eyes. My body is covered in a blanket that I don't remember putting on. I frown at the sunlight. I turn to the side only to be see pair of green eyes. s**t, I suddenly get up startled. Black hair, green eyes, and no this isn't Nathan. I don't remember Nathan ever mention he can transform into a kid. The kid keeps on starring at me, I stare back. "What do you want kiddo?" I speak to break the awkward silence. "Your are not even that pretty" yo, who child is this? I check around the room for anyone else. I am not gonna curse a child. "You look like my aunt" biss, I look at him, if I punch it will they know it was me? "Are you Nathan's brother small one?" I say sweetly, yeah I won't show you that I am mad, guess who is winning? "I am asking the questions." "You didn't ask any question." "How are old are you?" Logically eighteen "I won't answer." The door opens showing Nathan. "Hey, you are awake. I'm sorry, did my brother bother you?" He looks at him "I told you Jake, don't bother her" his eyes focus on me "Are you hungry?" With that he walks away. "I made waffles." I push the blanket away so suddenly. The kid runs out of the room and I follow quickly Nathan. Oh, my teeth. Forget it, waffles are more important now. I saw the kid basically drooling when he heard the word waffles. I grasp my hands together in front of me as I walk behind Nathan. The kitchen is big and I won't even get into the details, expect the waffles that temporarily decorate the table. Nathan pushes a sit right next to the one in the middle of the two sides, the top of the table. All the sits around are full. A plate full of waffles is placed in front of me. I pick the fork because it is filled with extra syrup. Freaking love it. I almost moan at how delicious they are. "You didn't introduce us Nate." A man in blue shirt says. I don't remember that guy. Nathan looks at him and then at me. He points at the guy with he blond hair from school "That is Chris. He is my beta and also my best friend, next to him, you also saw him at school, is Leo. He is the my best friend and future alpha of the black pack." Black pack? So that is why all the black? "The one that just spoke is my sisters mate, Kale." He goes on with names but I don't even pay attention, I just look where he points as I eat. This waffles are really good. "What is your pack called?" I ask as his lips stop moving. "Blue moon" he states proudly. Pffftt, that's why all the blue on my room? To make me get into the role? They are all about colors, aren't they? "How many packs are there?" "Today are twenty packs. But the numbers of some are bigger than other packs." Twenty? From one they went to twenty through all those years. I kind of expected more. Shouldn't they be more? But he said some packs have more numbers of werewolves. "Do you remember the names?" I pick another waffle "I do." He chuckles "But I will tell you the ones with the biggest population. Silver empire, red moon, and ours" hmm, so the red moon pack is still standing. "Expect werewolves packs, what about vampires?" I hear a hiss and turn to look at a blond haired girl. I look back at Nathan "Did I say something wrong?" "No. Werewolves and vampires don't have the best relationships. Although many packs are allied with them, our pack is, enemies still." Enemies? I really have been away from a long time. I can see he doesn't want to talk about it. Wherever. After minutes pass "Can I ask something?" He looks at me with his green eyes shining brightly, shouldn't he more dark and cold and possessive? I would like that type, provokes me easier "Yes, my mate" He smiles "How long will I stay here?" His smile slowly fades away "For a month mostly, until things quiets down." "What do you mean?" He chuckles "You ask a lot of questions." "Can I call a friend?" I feel many head turning towards me. "A friend?" Yes, I might as well bring someone else in this "Yes." That kind of b***h I am "Eugene, many people don't know about us" "She doesn't have any family, it will be okay. She is like a sister to me, she took care of me when I was at the orphanage." Damn my lies and my wet eyes "You have no mom or sad?" Who said that? I turn to look at the little kid. I drop my head, feel sad for me, "mate". "Okay." A chair is pushed, screeching my ears, I turn to look at the blond girl from before to see her standing up "Alpha, you can risk the packs safety like this. It is enough we have one human?" Human? I haven't heard that in years. "I make the decisions here, Kathryn" he states. She looks at him not believing his words and storms out, the guy in blue shirt follows after her. "Forgive my sister" oh, that's his sister. He mentioned it but I probably didn't care. "It's all right, don't worry about it." 

After breakfast I head to my room to brush my teeth. I head outside the balcony, watching bodies running. Oh, oh, if Nathan is my mate would he really choose this room for me. It’s the training field, the room has a view of the training field. Damn, the door behind me opens quickly like a storm. A tall figure with a blue mini dress stands right in front me. I like the dress detail, it has a high neck with no shoulders. The girl’s hair are up in a messy bun making her look cute on her sexiness. High collarbone, full lips, and brown eyes. She is beautiful, but I am gorgeous. “Here” in her hand there is a phone, with buttons. The technology is really what I am not used at. I take it from her but she grabs my wrist. Her nails piercing my skin as they can. s**t, “You’re cute, but that’s it. I don’t care if Nathan is your mate,” she throw my wrist when it seems she let go, “he is mine. Got it, human?” I kind of expected someone like her, isn’t this like all the other plots, if this was a book it would have taken a lot of interest, I am the protagonist after all. She goes to leave and I look at my wrist, red marks decor my white pale skin. Ha “How cute, the puppy wants the alpha” she stops and turns to look at me with her eyes furrowed in anger “What did you just say?” It wasn’t even that bad, honey, you don’t want that. I smile at her and she seems angrier “Oh you heard that. You are a cute birdie, but that’s it. You are a daughter of an omega after all.” she seems shocked as her eyes widen “b***h” I go and close the curtains, seems she holds herself pretty high. You can do that all you want, but not me in front of me. “You may leave” she goes to attack me “What are you doing?” A voice low yells and I look to see the blond one from before. She grabs the girls hands behind her back. “Kathryn, let go” “Get our now” she throws her outside, and damn she is lucky. Kathryn look at me, “You are not here not even a day and you create trouble already. Our pack doesn’t need a Luna like you” she basically spits as she leaves dragging the girl. Didn’t I come yesterday? Shouldn’t it be a day? I look down at the floor. I pick the phone and call the number that I remember is hers “Your people need to be tamed, Emma” “Long time not call, Lary” “b***h, don’t call me that” she chuckles “What do you want?” “I want you to explain to me this mess. Someone claims I am their mate. Care to explain?” There is silence for seconds “Some things should stay where they are, Laura. It is best you don’t know some things.” “Emma” I say her name with a warning. “Laura, trust me on this” she hangs up before I say more. Nice to talk to you too Ems. I dial another number “What?” Damn, an hoarse voice greeds me “Don’t what me Maggie.” “Laura? The heck?” “Are you sleeping? I was kidnapped dumbass? Care to care?” “And they let you make a call?” “Oh, I have a lot of things to tell you. But first, get your ass and come and find me” “Escape yourself, I am sleeping.” She is not even using her powers “I am not escaping. But are going to share my “adventure” with me. Aren’t we friends?” “No” “Ouch, but it’s okay. We gonna talk again before the day ends. Face to face”
