Juliet works a part-time shift at the in-house, and as I walk in, I throw off my tote bag and scan the bar for her. Back in the pub, a low-class club is linked, and Juliet spends most of her time there. She has the responsibility of providing refreshments to the clubhouse patrons. Since I can't see her in this room, I know she must be inside the clubhouse, maybe pleading with a man for a tip. I'm struggling mightily to control my raging emotions while I look for an acceptable explanation for her behavior. What she did is not justified in any way.
