CHAPTER SEVEN: Choice.

The board meeting was scheduled for Monday.

On Sunday night, Aria found the original contract in her drawer. Twenty-four months. They were at eighteen.

She walked into the living room where Dev stood by the window, just like the first day.

“Do you love me?” She asked.

He stiffened.

“Yes”, he said after a beat. “I didn’t mean to, but yes”.

Her heart pounded.

“Then don’t let them reduce this to strategy again” She said.

He turned. “If I refuse, they could vote me out”.

“Then fight”.

“For what what?”

“For us”.

The word hung between them.

He looked torn- CEO and husband at war.

“What if I lose everything?” He asked.

She stepped closer. “You won’t, and if you do… we’ll rebuild together”.

He studied her face as if memorizing it.

Then slowly, he nodded.

Aria raised up her feet and kiss Dev.

Dev looked at her with shock.

“Aria” he said.

Aria stood in front of him staring at his eyes from eyes to lips.

Dev tooked her to the wall, pressing her back against the wall, kissing her strongly, both feeling their breath beneath their nose.

Dev carried her and went to his bedroom. He lay Aria gently on his well furnitured bed. He continued kissing her.

Aria took out her hands and started undressing him from button to button.

“You want this Aria?” Dev asked with a romantic voice.

“Yes I do, I’m your wife”. She added.

Aria held his head and continued kissing him.

Dev slowly kissed her from lips to neck. Then slowly went down to her V. Spot.

Aria let out a soft moan.

Dev looked at her, inserting his Pennis into her V. Spot.

“Ouch, Dev that hurt”. she said.

“You’re… a virgin?” Dev asked looking surprised.

“Yes I am, Dev” she said.

“So you are giving yourself to me?” He asked calmly.

“Yes” she answered.

“Why” Dev asked.

“Because I……I love you, Dev” Aria said with a little shyness on her face.

“I won’t make you regret this, I won’t make it painful” he said and kissed her.

It came morning the next day, Aria still on his bed, she opened her eyes and saw a fair looking handsome man, who is still asleep.

She let out her hand to touch his beautiful pointed nose. She touched his nose smiling.

Dev opened his eyes.

“My love” he said with a sleepy voice.

Aria removed her hand quickly and pretended to be sleeping.

“I know you aren’t sleeping cutie berry” he said .

Aria smiled knowing he had caught her pretending.

“Good morning Darling” she said with a smile on her face.

“Good morning my little angel, hope you slept well?” He asked.

“Seeing you by my side, I will always sleep well” she said.

Dev kissed her forehead and smiled.
