Chapter Nine

|Twins 2nd birthday|

                                                                                •SOUTHSIDE•

Right now I'm over Chauncey's house with Latisha and Chanel was acting a damn fool trying to fight her and talking about she didn't want her in her house.

"When my sister get here b***h we on your ass". Chanel said walking pass the couch we sat on with a mug on her face looking at Latisha.

"b***h please". Latisha said laughing waving her off.

Chanel slapped her and the s**t happened so fast I couldn't react but Chauncey came and grabbed her pulling her back.

"I'm definitely getting my little sister on yo ass she gone treat you b***h". Chanel said pointing her finger at her.

"What are we here for". I ask looking between Chanel and Chauncey.

"s**t I want to know the same thing I didn't invite y'all". Chanel said folding her arms looking over at Chauncey.

"The twins birthday today". He said nonchalantly. 

"Okay but what does that have to do with me". I ask and Chanel nods agreeing.

"I didn't want to be there with all them women and kids by myself". He said before walking off to the back.

Shaking my head I turn back to the tv when Latisha laid her head on my chest and I kissed it.

"You bitches ugly". Chanel said walking off to where Chauncey went.

Ignoring her I continue to watch tv.

Going over where I wanted things for the party the designer directed everyone to what they were supposed to be doing.

"I don't think I like that right there would y'all mind moving it to the other side". I ask and they nodded moving the table to the other side.

"All this for your kids you must really love them". The designer said with a smile as we looked around.

"Girl this is for them but the majority is for me to have fun". I said causing us to both laugh because she knew I was being honest.

"Girl no shame I did the same for my kids first and second birthday party". She said patting my back.

"You know what you and your kids are invited and your sister's kids". I said and she gave me a wide smile.

"Girl thank you I been trying to tire they badass out". She said causing us to laugh.

"I need to go meet up with my sister and best friend to get my kids ready". I said giving her a hug and walking out of the building.

Getting into my car I start it up and drive off in the direction of my house.

Getting out of the car I walk up the steps and unlock the door walking in.

"No ma'am meadow don't be hitting your brother". I heard Tae say from the back and then I heard a hitting noise.

"No sir Rhyland don't hit your sister". He said in a stern voice causing me to laugh.

"Girl while you laughing they need to be getting dressed before we be late". Tae said handing me Meadows outfit as he put on Rhylands.

"I can't wait for you to see the place I went all out for their birthday". I said putting meadows arms through her shirt.

"They not even gone remember this s**t". He said shaking his head.

"b***h I got photographers so they can see when they get older". I said putting her shoes on and standing her up.

"Nah you just a big ass kid". He said causing us to laugh.

"That too". I said rubbing meadows back as she held onto my leg.

" Alright Thank you for watching them now let's go to my sister's house cause they following me". I said walking out of the room with the twins and Tae behind me.

After buckling the twins up I back out before pulling off towards my sister's house.

|Chanels house|

Seeing another car in the driveway I park beside it before calling Chanel.

"Hello where you at". She said as soon as she answered the phone.

"I'm outside y'all need to come on it takes a good 45 minutes to get there now that traffic picked up". I said leaning back into my seat with the phone to my ear.

"Alright we coming". She said before hanging up.

Dropping my phone in my lap I keep my eyes closed.

"I know he f*****g lying b***h look at this". Tae said tapping my shoulder causing me to open my eyes and sit up.

Looking at what he was pointing to I see southside walking out with Latisha.

Getting out of the car I lightly close the door because the twins were slumped. Walking over there I give Chanel the what the f**k look.

"Nah don't look at me like that it was Chauncey with his stupid ass like he running s**t matter a fact how about all three of y'all stay here". Chanel said mugging them.

"Man come on ion got time for this s**t". Chauncey said smacking his lips.

"You not coming into my kid's birthday party so you might as well go home your you gone be standing outside". I said to Latisha with a mug on my face.

"Baby I'll call you when I leave from the party Aight". He said looking down at her about to kiss her but I didn't see because I turned around and walked back to my car.

"Bitches really tried it today". Tae said as soon as I got in.

"That like child please". I said starting the car back up and backing out when I seen Chanel start her car.

"I have a feeling somethings going to go bad". I say looking over at Tae.

"Why you say that". He asked with a confused look.

"I just got that feeling". I said and continued to drive.

Hopefully no s**t pops off on my kid's birthday...
