I just know she didn't say that s**t in front of my moms like that.

"Are you f*****g crazy". I ask looking at her crazily. 

"What she asked me what I wanted to do if I didn't go to college". Latisha said shrugging her shoulders causing Ariana to laugh.

"What's funny b***h". Latisha said mugging Ariana. 

"No ma'am I will not tolerate that language towards my grandkid's mother because you can get out". My mama said standing up from the table pointing towards the door.

"Ma just please chill out I got this we'll be back". He said grabbing her by her arm pulling her out of the dining room.

"Thanks for sticking up for me even though she's had her butt beat by me plenty of times". I said feeding Rhyland a piece of cornbread.

"Chile she almost got the beat down up in here". Mrs.Luellen said shaking her head causing me to laugh.

"If you don't mind me asking where's your husband". I ask looking over at her.

"He died a few years ago from a heart attack". She said with a sigh.

"I'm so sorry to hear that forget I even asked". I said waving my hand.

"You're fine I don't mind you asking me anything". She said grabbing my hand smiling at me.

"b***h WE IN MY MAMA HOUSE HAVE SOME f*****g RESPECT AND THE NEXT TIME YOU SAY SOME DISRESPECTFUL s**t TO THE MOTHER OF MY KIDS IM GONE LET HER BEAT YO ASS NOW GET DOWNSTAIRS AND APOLOGIZE TO BOTH OF THEM." I heard Southside yell from upstairs before looking down at the kids and they were already looking at me.

Hearing footsteps come closer to the kitchen I look up and see Latisha with her head down.

"I'm sorry".She said but you could barely hear her.

"Yo stop playing with me speak up and say what you sorry for". He said smacking his lips looking down at her.

"Mrs.Luellen I'm sorry for using disrespectful language in your house and Ariana I'm sorry for calling you a b***h". She said looking up at us and I just nod.

"Well I accept your apology now sit down and Joshua let me hear you call another girl out of her name I'm gone beat yo ass I don't care what she did".His mom said smiling at her before looking at him sternly.

"Yes ma'am but we not done cause she about to apologize to my kids". He said causing me to look at him with a shocked facial expression.

"Nigga for what". She asked jerking her head back.

"For disrespecting their mother in front of them that's why". He said giving her a daring look.

"I'm sorry". She said rolling her eyes and he didn't say anything he just nodded and sat down.

"I ain't even gone say nothing but just wait till this dinner over you gone know not to play with my kids". He said causing me to raise my eyebrows.

"Ariana why you so quiet". He asked looking over at me.

"I just feel like I'm in a movie right now I have nothing to say". I said throwing my hands up as if to surrender.

"Get the twin's attention and tell them to come here". He said looking over at them as his mom got up collecting plates.

"Oh no Mrs.Luellen I got it". I said grabbing the plate as she lifted it off the table.

"Child let this plate go I got it but thank you".she said rubbing my back smiling down at me.

Tapping the twins they look up from their tablets which played spy kids the one with Carmen and Junie.

"Dada said come here". I said taking their tablets out of their laps sitting them on the table as they rushed over there.

"I'm sorry that y'all had to hear me yelling like that I would never yell at y'all like that I love y'all". He said looking down at them before kissing their foreheads causing them and me to smile.

"Can we go".Latisha said causing me to mug her.

"Ariana I'll be by next week to get them". He said placing them on their feet before standing up.

"I thought you were getting them this weekend". I said giving him a confused look.

"Ba-Ariana I'm sorry but I got to finish this song with one of my artists I promise I'll come pick them up as soon as I'm done". He said standing up and walking over to me making me stand up before wrapping his arms around.

"You're a great mother and I thank you for taking care of my kids". He said lowly into my ear-grabbing my ass before backing away biting his lip causing me to shake my head.

"ALRIGHT MA IM OUT I LOVE YOU". He yelled towards the kitchen.

"BYE BABY I LOVE YOU TOO". She yelled back before he walked out of the house.

"Okay babies it's time to go home". I said grabbing their tablets placing them in my purse before walking into the kitchen with them trailing behind me.

"Hey Ma we leaving". I said causing her to turn around from washing dishes.

"Aww okay baby y'all come back and visit me you hear". She said wiping her hands with a smile.

"Go give granny a hug so we can go". I said pushing them towards her.

Watching her kids their forehead they come back over to me and we head out of the house. Unlocking the car I help them in and buckle their seat belts before getting in the car myself and pulling off.

That was some dinner...
