Everyone was happy about the very much hyped school dance. As early as six in the evening, people had arrived by the pairs. Everyone wore a new dress or suit which would be discarded after the dance was over or kept as a souvenir by the romantic ones. In the sky, the moon and the stars provided a romantic lighting into the hall which held the main event. Fairy lights and the colorful decorations that lined each part of the beautifully decorated hall added a surplus amount of vibrancy to the jovial mood.
A sweet melody was drifting through the cheery and merry night atmosphere. A collection of some elves some of whom who were violinists, harp players and pianists at the corner of the hall made the mood even more ethereal.
