“ Come in” Miss Lance’s voice sounded from inside the office after I had knocked.
Her office was located in the administration block next to the principal’s at the top most floor. I was kinda curious about the principal’s identity. Until now, I had not seen him nor heard from him.
Miss Lance’s office was large and spacious. It had one large grey sofa at the end closest to the door. A large file cabinet occupied the east side of the room. Behind a large mahogany desk at the center of the room, sat Miss Lance on a swinging chair. The office reeked of papers and work, it reminded me of my dad’s office at his company.
