“ What was that earlier?” the question that had been bugging me ever since the incineration popped out of my mouth.
“ What?” Michael smiled as he pulled me closer to him
“ You were like…not you for a couple of seconds” I shrugged
“ Really? But the guy was acting immature, I felt like punching him”
I nodded my head but then the sight of Michael jumping to my best friend’s rescue kept replaying in my mind. I had never seen him get that mad before, mad enough that his eyes turned to blood red. It was like his aura changed, He wasn’t even that angry when he was being beaten in the competition. The level of protectiveness that he displayed was beyond what I even expected. It wasn’t a bad thing for him to save my best friend, I actually would be angry if he didn’t do anything. B
