Every student was locked up in their dorms under the deputy mistress’ instruction. Some were downright clueless of what was happening but those who had a pretty good idea had the sanity to lock their doors tighter. The school’s compound was now crawling with guards who were doing all they could to capture the thing that just went through our defenses. Our school was known to be the most secure of locations, no unauthorized person or creature could ever get through unless they were real good. Real good in the context that they could get past the army of super naturals wielding big guns.
