“ What’s that?” I frowned
“ These?” Shan waved the transparent bag
“ They are magic mushrooms” Jefferson said “ You use them to get high”
“ Is that a drug? I don’t do drugs” I said
“ Relax, that’s no drug” Rita chimed in as she snuggled closer to my chest “ tell him Jefferson”
“ It’s a baked plant that has five edges on it’s leaves” Jefferson explained
“ Weed?” I asked “ Weed cookies”
“ Meh” He shrugged
“ Who cares what they are, just try them for f**k’s sake” Shan said impatiently. She took one piece from the brown crumbs and munched on it. She passed it to Jefferson who did the same. I waited to see if they got senselessly crazy but they did not, they looked normal to me.
“ You too?” I asked Rita who was eating it like they were biscuits.
