FIXING IT“There’s nothing we can do!” Kirwan glared at Phoenix as though daring her to defy him. She’d washed in the remnants of tepid water left by the campers and dressed in clean clothes. Kylie’s predicament had strengthened her restorative mentality. She’d somehow help Kylie and free the refugees. It seemed unthinkable to leave both situations broken. Kylie’s plight would take thought, but the refugees needed food and water for an immediate easing of their circumstances. A bolt cutter would provide a permanent solution for the heavy padlock imprisoning them.
