HACKS & HORSESThe hack was not only a health and safety nightmare, but a disaster of epic proportions. Tina moved too fast through the undergrowth and added a few ill-timed jumps for the girls to pop over on their hectic progression through the bush. It resulted in two falls after a clatter between Sharon’s chin and a low-hanging branch and three separate cases of extreme hysterics.
Lexi and Phoenix brought up the rear like a pair of road sweepers minimising hurricane damage. “Someone should run a book and take bets on this,” Lexi grunted. She shoved a reluctant Kylie back into the saddle and patted her knee. “Wipe your nose on your sleeve,” she said, her sympathy extended beyond breaking point.
