Athena's P.O.V.
Callan's been extremely quiet throughout breakfast, and although I can feel his anxiety, I choose to ignore it. I force myself to make small talk with his mom and his sisters, but I tend to get sidetracked when I hear the ranked members talking about battle strategies. Alpha Jacob joined us for breakfast, and he and I clicked instantly. We've talked about everything from trades, to alliances, to interrogation strategies. He's even given me ideas on how to include The Salem Coven in our pack more and make them more of an asset, making me decide to give them a permanent place in our pack if they choose that's what they want later on.
