I flop down on the bed in mine and Athena's bedroom and let out a heavy sigh. Today has just been too much, for any of us to handle. After feeling everything that Damon felt, all the guilt and grief, I just needed to be alone. I saw it in his eyes the night that Phillip made us fight for the alpha title, and I saw it again tonight. Damon didn't want this, any of this, and if I had to guess he's just as afraid of his father's wrath as Anna is. I have a feeling that he's always just gone along with whatever his father says, seeking his approval, even if it meant abusing his little sister.
