Daniel's POV
"The thing I asked for you, is it done?" I asked from my special assistant.
He is the one I trust the most in my work life, he is really talented. He has been working for me for almost five years now.. His father used to work for my father for as long as I remember but unfortunately he was also killed the same year as my parents.
"Yes sir! Everything is prepared the meeting will take place tomorrow in the evening security is being continuously checked"
"Good" he got the notion and left.
I called my driver and went for our main base.. it has been some time since I went there.. but before leaving I ordered James(my special assistant) to keep an eye on my girl in case anything happens.
We reached within half an hour and I met Fin on the gate, he is my right hand and handles everything in my absence, he is crueler than me actually but I don't let anyone know this
He is the one whom I trust the most in the mafia world, in a place where there is a fight going on all the time, sometimes with the enemies outside this world, sometimes with the other mafia gangs for dominance and the other times with your own members for the leader’s position but loyal men like him come in handy and help you a lot.
As the strongest ones we have to look out for every gang who is trying to come at par with us.. they can become a big threat anytime so we have no other choice but to eliminate them without showing any mercy..
"Sir everything is going fine but the attack that happened a month ago, nothing has been found about that"
Fin said interrupting my thoughts
"How is it possible no one can do such smooth work, look out more fin there can be another attack I think it’s a new threat" i said pounding at the fact that nothing is still found how can this be
Somehow I have a feeling that this time our enemy is really clever and they are much stronger then what they are showing us..
I visited the training grounds and then the entered the labs
"K..king!" they said respectfully and bowed.
"What's the news" I asked keeping a straight face.
"T..there are no traces" their head said looking down
"How is it possible not even a single trace.. an attack was made on our one of the most important base with the sole aim of killing me and even after a month you can't find anything" I shouted angrily
"You guys are useless I have made a mistake by choosing you.. You guys haven't even found anything about your previous boss's death.. You fail at finding out the person behind my sister when there are so many traces" I was beyond angry now
My parents and my sister's topic always triggers the beast inside me, I took the gun from Fin and pointed it towards the head "My King please forgive us.. Please we will do our best.. Please give us time.." This head is so annoying, how did he even manage to come this far, he thinks kneeling down in front of me was of any use.. I really hate useless people under me.
I took a deep breath to calm myself "Listen here you rubbish I give you a week, you fail you die" I said and left the lab.
"Fin keep an eye on them I smell a nasty fish"
I was talking with my other members when my phone rang
"You all can carry on with your work now" I said and picked up the phone
"hmm?"
James briefed me about an incident that just took place in my company's main building.
"You know what to do fire her and hand her to Fin, messing with my girl intentionally, means she is underestimating me I had enough of her" I ordered and ended the call.
'Zena is taking advantage of our friendship how dare she think she is above my girl from any angle.. Now she can only have a taste of her own medicine'
I called Fin and told him to handle the matter but ordered him not to kill her at the moment..
