Jennie's POV

I am standing in front of Wemsberg Corporation right now my life has given me a big surprise.

2 days ago I got a call from them saying that they want to interview me for the HR department.. My college is going to end within 2 months, we are given preparatory leave as after 1 month we have our final exams marking the end of my degree after that I will be able to enter my professional life fully..

I was confused at first as to why they would want to hire a girl like me but nonetheless it is a good opportunity and I did not want to leave it no matter what..

So here I am.

Inside my brain is going crazy and there is a chance that people can see the sweat forming on my forehead. This is one of the most famous companies in the whole world and people die to work in it.

I took a deep breath and entered the building moving straight to the receptionist, everyone walking around me is either deep inside work or is giving me glances as to telling me that I do not belong here and have entered a wrong place

I can depict already that if I got chosen then my life can be difficult but they give a handsome salary to even their lowest worker and work experience certificate from this company can help me greatly in the future and come on they can’t kill me so there’s always hope ..

I entered the elevator that took me to my desired floor...there were few people around and soon it was my turn for the interview.

 *In interview*

I knocked the room twice and entered I saw a young lady in formal attire working on her laptop she didn't even acknowledge me

'Is this how they interview people? Strange' I thought

"Hello mam I am here for the interview" I said and sat down on the chair opposite her.

"Did I tell you to sit down" she replied rudely

I was embarrassed so I stood up immediately "Sorry mam"

"Hmm so you are the one he chose huh?" she asked.

'He chose? Who? 'I thought but replied respectfully

"Sorry ma'am I do not know what you mean"

"Don't play dumb with me you must have a big hand in this but still whatever it is let's start the interview"

I decided to ignore her words

Afterwards she asked me several questions to which I replied according to my knowledge.. She looked a little bit taken back maybe she expected me to be a dumb girl but you see woman I am not one.

Suddenly she asked me

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"huh? I mean no ma'am i am single"

Why did she ask me such a private question?

"Good I hope you are not lying I hate people who lie.. you will be working as my assistant! Come to my office after 2days at sharp 9:30am.You are dismissed"

'What? Just like that I am dismissed not even a congratulation? At least give me a smile for my hard work, you never made it easy for me. For heaven's sake you did not even let me sit down throughout.' I thought but said

"Thanks ma'am I will try my best" and left the room.

Ok Jennie congrats you made it Thank God I did it, I wanted to start dancing in my excitement

'Mom Dad are you watching me? Did i make you proud?'

I came out of the building and called my bestie to give her the news we both were so happy but during the call I felt as if someone is watching me I looked around but found no one.So, Ignoring the feeling I booked a taxi and went to my old office to resign thinking this will be a new start of my life I will certainly try my best..
